Two Weeks at 26

Has it really only been two weeks since I hopped over onto the other side of being closer to 30 than 20?!

It feels like it has been months since I was running around a park in Atlanta dancing with some of my closest friends. Birthdays are a great time to reflect not only on the past year (which has been a wild one) but also a time where you really can feel the love from the community you have. I am so unbelievably grateful for all the friends, family, and other connections that not only wished me happy birthday but who have also loved and supported me through this crazy adventure. I honestly would not be here without my network of caring and loving individuals. I truly felt the love on my birthday and am grateful everyday for the support I have.

The best part?! I caught this awesome celebration on tape! Check out the weekend adventures (yes I have cried many times over seeing the majority of my closest friends all in one place having the time of our lives).

Then after a weekend of fun it was time for work. But can I really call it work since I loved doing it so much?! My business partner and I launched Festivate’s first activation at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. I am so grateful for our client Shiftpod for giving us this incredible opportunity to show the world what we can do! Another special shout out goes to the production crew who made this out of this world dome for guests to lounge in, to our staff that were the best space concierges out there, to the performers who drew crowds in by making dope sounds with their mouth, and of course our amazing photographer for capturing all the magic.

It was also my first EDC! I cannot believe I have never been to this festival. I was completely blown away by the level of production. As a short person, I often see people shoulders rather than the stage but at this festival this was not a problem as these were some of the largest stages I have ever seen! There seriously was not a bad seat in the house (and at one of the stages there was even bleachers to sit at). While I did not get to enjoy the festival too much as I was working here is a little bit of my adventures:

This past few weeks have been a whirlwind but the adventure is not over yet! I will be working, attending, and posting about a music festival just about every weekend for the next few months. Subscribe and join me on this crazy venture!
