What’s next?!

I’ve been asked this many times and the honest answer is I don’t know.

Ever since I was little I always knew I was going to graduate from a 4 year University. This was pretty much the plan for 22 years of my life. Then I graduated and realized I had no idea what was next.

For the past 3 years I’ve been working, eating pizza, and flying all over the US trying to figure out what’s next. While I’ve had a lot of fun, I still don’t feel like I know what I want to be next.

So what’s a girl to do? The past month I have been pressing “reset” in California. After living 7 years on the opposite coast of my family, it’s been wonderful to help my parents around the house (I found out it’s really hard to dig a hole for a lemon tree), hang out with my sister and 11 year old niece, and take some time to myself.

I’ve taken up meditation, caught up with old friends, and done some reading. The time home has been just what I needed but I know that it’s not the place that I am going to get the growth that I need. Now I will not only be traveling to find new places but also to find myself. Sorry for the clichè but quitting my job to travel until my savings run out is the only plan that makes sense to me right now!

That journey, of course, starts with a few music festivals in the states✌🏼

Then it’s off to Bali on September 6th ✈️
