On the road again

I think there are some of us who aren’t meant to be in one place.

Those who love people watching at the airport.

Those who get a thrill from take off.

Those who love landing in a new place.

Those who feel suffocated when stagnate.

Suffocated is definitely one feeling I could call what I have been feeling lately.

The past few months I’ve tried to be really good at saving my money by curbing my wanderlust and resisting the urge to buy plane tickets. It hasn’t been easy but I’m happy to say that I actually have a savings account for the first time in my life!

But then after 4 months of not being on a plane I got the itch to travel again. So I booked a flight (on my own dime) to see my brother in NY. Then it’s like the universe was somehow telling me I needed to keep moving. Right after my NY trip my work starting sending me to Chicago. For those of you that don’t know, a flight for work also means that as long as the price is the same I can come from or go to just about anywhere (on the company’s dime). So I sprinkled a couple more cities to the front and back ends of my work trip.

So let’s recap April shall we?!

NYC>CLT>CHI>DC>CLT>LA>CHI>SAC

Yes that does include back to back weekend in California….

Living out of suitcase isn’t the easiest (although I did just buy this new London Fog one I am beyond ecstatic about) but

I love the thrill of being on the road.

I love the excitement of planning out the next adventure.

I love the anticipation who I get to visit next.

I am very much a human who wasn’t meant to stay in one place for long…
